一次産業となる素材としては全国一のシェアを誇っていながら、そのことは一般的にはあまり知られておらずこの地で何代にもにわたり
タンナー（製革業）を営む皮革工場の厳選された原皮から鞣された良質の革を一人でも多くの人に知ってもらいたいとの願いから“RETHAEL”が生まれました。
皮から革へ、そして姿に。
革を知り尽くしたタンナリィー（製革業者）の熟練工とデザイナー、縫製職人が集い、伝統と革新を培ってきた技術を受け継ぐ職人技によって支えられているものづくり。
ブランド名となる〈 RETHAEL 〉は、革という素材そのものにある価値を伝え、長く寄り添う喜びを分かち合うこと。
そんな想いを込めています。
Tatsuno City, Hyogo, Japan – Leather tanning has been a traditional industry of the region for a long time thanks to its mild weather,abundant water supply, and high-quality salt.
Although the city is the biggest provider of the material in the country, that fact is not known to general public. “Rethael” was born to let the world know more about the high-quality leather made from the raw hide, strictly selected and tanned by a leather factory of a tanner through generations in this area.

gathered and support these creations with their artisanship cultivated through traditions and tireless renovations.
With the brand name “Rethael”, we hope to convey the value that the leather itself has and share the joy of owning something for a long time.
